blog: the resurrection, aka the return of the blog

After a long hiatus, I have decided (perhaps against my better judgment, but my judgment wasn’t always that great anyway) to resurrect the blog.  Partly, this is because becoming a new mother has made me reflect a lot on my past, and on the thingsI continue to learn as I strive to maintain a life in recovery from a multitude of harmful behaviors.  I hope not to pass these harmful proclivities onto my offspring, but to offer her the wisdom I gained from others I’ve met who taught me a lot about how to be a human being, and how to share my humanity with others.  I don’t know yet what topics I will end up discussing, but here’s a teaser for my first topic: what my mom has taught me about how to handle the heartbreak of dealing with a troubled child. It’s currently marinating and will hopefully be arriving soon.
